1. What CongressSignal is
CongressSignal is an information service that aggregates and presents publicly disclosed financial transaction reports filed by members of the U.S. Congress under the STOCK Act. We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or financial planner.
2. Not financial advice
Nothing on CongressSignal constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. We do not recommend securities or strategies. Any action you take based on information from the service is taken solely at your own risk and discretion.
3. Data accuracy
We source data from government filings and parse it as accurately as we can, but filings may contain errors, omissions, or delays outside our control. We make no warranty that the data is complete, accurate, or timely, and we are not liable for decisions made in reliance on it.
4. Autopilot and brokerage connections
If you enable Autopilot, you authorize CongressSignal to place orders in a brokerage account you connect. You remain solely responsible for the configuration, the rules you set, the funds in that account, and all resulting trades. You may disable Autopilot at any time.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. The free Watchlist tier is provided at no charge and may change over time.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to scrape, resell, or redistribute the service, attempt to circumvent access controls, or use the service for any unlawful purpose.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CongressSignal and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any trading losses, arising from use of the service.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
